Thanks guys. The dash light comes on when I hit the ignition then goes out when the engine starts and doesn't come back on again. Def not charging, as 8V across the battery when running and 12V when off. Will try checking for continuity and see what's what after that. May be another few...

They were originally two 15A fuses - side by side in the fusebox. I can't identify what they are as it's a Japanese import and the diagrams are all in Japanese but two 15A fuses, bottom of two rows in fusebox, fifth and sixth from the left. For info, looks like 13 available slots in top and...

Of course, on the hottest day of the year so far. Interior blower fan stopped working - didn't notice - was driving on the motorway. Checked fuses - two 15A ones blown (the left hand and centre of the three 15A on the bottom row - trying to attach photo but not happening at the moment...)...

The front passenger window on my '95 Mistral TD has been jammed shut with wood. I had the trim off yesterday and while there is power to the plug, the motor does nothing, so assume dead. Jim, Both very good points - might be worth trying a cheap in-line first to see if that has any effect... Also fair one on the speedo - again, will try to whip the dials out to see if it's a rubbish mask. Thanks again all - best £10 I'll ever spend on it... Jim
