Well after almost giving up faith .... Nispec1st has come up trumps!!! They put me onto a jap import garage in strood, kent , and paid for and supplied parts(fuel pump and rocker cover gasket) and labour.. I've had a full service done and the truck is now running sweet!!! Feels like it would...

Help Ok guys ..I've now put a new fuel line in from the top of the tank to the fuel filter(in fuel grade clear tubing) still got air bubbles 😩😩😩😩 and loads of whitish/blue smoke!!!!! managed to talk to Dave and he suggested I put the tank end into a separate can of deseil ... As I'm priming and...

Help Just an update and a massive thanks to Dave (davenclaire ) he's just spent hours round at mine helping me diagnose my fuel problem and I'm off to find some replacement fuel hose in the morning... Will let you know if it solves the issue!!! Absolute gent and top bloke !! Many thanks rob

Help Your probably right .. But they buy and sell nissans and if they get one that's broken and can fix it then they sell it on as a working motor..

Help The' whole' car came from a Nissan breakers and the turbo came from my broken/part ex 3lt patrol .. I've driven the truck today , started journey fine then the dash lights on and power loss up hill.. The engine/gearbox seemed to hold on to the gears far to long ?? When the power dropped...

Turbo The original turbo did fail and it's been replaced by a second hand one off a patrol ...

Help Have the 3lts got the mini filters that so many of you have mentioned ???? When we emptied the original filter into a glass bowl it was full of rubbish/bits and had a bluish tinge to it!!!!!
