slider pins they seem to bend when pads are worn, so when braking it the carrier travels out so far, and heat of the brakes must distort them. only explanation i can think of, but if the slider moves on bent pins it tends to lock the carrier with pads onto disk and won't release. hope thats...

brake pins cheers for help guys, two of the pins are bent, straightened, cleaned and re- greased them they're working at the moment but need some attention asap. might be sorted with Tezzers help thanks guys billyweld

mechanical hi daved dont know whether this is any use to you but i had a micra which pulled to the left and also suffered a wobble. had it tracked and balanced, made no difference at all, tyre guy suggested that i swap front wheels left to right and it cured it. worth a try. regards billyweld

fuel pipes i spliced mine and replaced the rotten bit with rubber seems to work ok been on 12 months eventually will replace with rubber or plastic billyweld

not sure what area your in but if close to shropshire found a good breakers on the welsh border called nissan first phone 01938 555750 for help he breaks all nissans from micras to terranos and anything in between all the best billyweld :roll:

billyweld here mines the same play with the engine off but perfect with the engine running

thanks sweety, but i work for a breakers yard and we've had nothing in!! but ive got a set of long wheel base sidesteps for a early Isuzu Trooper!! shame to hack em up!!
