    Black tint

Try a company called Dorotape, it's the company that signmakers use for their vinyl, they do a range of window film. I don't know if they supply the public direct. When I fitted it to my Renault, I had a problem with the concave curve on the rear window. make up a spray bottle with a good mix...

    New lights

Wiring on mine is same as, but I picked up the supply into pin 86 from the main beam wire from the wiring loom. This means the spot lights will only come on when the main beam lights are on

    New lights

Lined the lights up at work this morning. and went for a drive in the country tonight to see how they looked. They are still 4 x 55w plus the 55w standard main beam, it was like driving in the daylight, amazed at what a difference they make. they don't seem to be focused to a beam more sort of...

    New lights

Of course it rained, but you can see here the light bar fitted with the lights a LOT c cheaper than buying a ready made one and it doesn't look too bad either. Just got to line them up properly now and change the bulbs on the inner pair for 100w supplied with the lights as a swop for the...

    New lights

The brackets were fitted through the vent in the bumper so no holes were drilled in the plastic, fairly substantial steel bar was used to reduce the shaking of the lights when fitted

    New lights

Cross light rail in the spray booth before fitting, the idea was to have one light mounted on each end with the other lights slighytly higer in the middle, this lifted the fitting bolts clear of the number plate surround

    roofrack/ roof bars

I know it may be different, but I had roof bars for my renault scenic which fitted by clamping onto the door frame tops with rubber pads under the feet, when I took them off after about 1 month they lifted the lacquer from the paint work. they were proper Renault kit....

    Maverick Mk3

Thats the one with the Air Baloon at the top. I was in third towing the trailer tent. Only a 2ltr 16v Petrol engine.... could always go to Cheltenham and out on the A40 or go across the M4 to Swindon and up from there - much flatter.

    Maverick Mk3

Towed my Trailer Tent to Gloucester at the weekend. No problems on the flat but coming up Birdlip Hill was an experience, I do not think it would have managed to tow the 1083kg caravan up the hill, so if I tow that anywhere I will have to drive around any big hills.......

    Maverick Mk3

I am pretty impressed with the Mk3 Maverick. I got it for winter driving and towing, I start towing in earnest this weekend, but so far it has no problem towing a twin axle 1083kg caravan. the max towing weight is 1309kg. http://www.uktow.com/index.asp I drive daily between Bletchley and...

well what an eventful week. Tyresreplaced a very nice set of General Grabber AT2s. same size, tyre whine is an octave higher than the ones that came off - I love it! Replacement shocks have arrived I will recommend the supplier, when they realised the mistake was in the Monroe catalogue they...

what do we use our truck for..

Use mine for running to and from work, around Milton Keynes, and Daventry. Towing a trailer tent and a twin axle tin box. Have not had it through a winter yet but I know that when the staff phone up to say they can't get to work because of the snow, I will be outside their door pretty quickly to...
