the battery may be the answer got this truck off my son and i know that he had a new battery about 3yrs ago and he had a smaller capacity battery fitted to what should have been fitted that was down to cost what he could afford at the time. so a fresh battery of the correct capacity may sort it...

Ok have now changed maf sensor for one off my other t2 it did the same thing died slowly from around 60mph so I know the new maf is ok it works fine in the other t2. So that now leads me to egr valve tried the ball bearing thing that didnt work it still died took ball bearing out and on way back...

did as you said took it to bits quite easy a few screws and it was off had a twidle with a few wires and guess wot it blummin works........ john............

it was an ebay suasage wot do you reckon then get a genuine one from nissan will it be a bosch or something like that???? So when I turn off the ignition and restart the vehicle it temporarily clears the problem is this the reason, is the maf getting the wrong signals and is duff to put it...
