fault code power loss under load

Bad news as fault came back, so maybe not fuel filter, I decided to find out where problem was happening (air ingress) and set about changing all fuel pipes, whilst carefully checking for bubbles, I bypassed filter head, but no better, then I changed all rubber hoses, this is where my luck...

    Wobbly steering

adjust preload on steering box, either by the manual method, or sensibly by feel. i cut a small section out of battery tray to enable it to be done on car. now play at wheel and pulling to left has gone. and 35mm is nearly 1.5" that is a lot of free play.

    MOT failure

as per my last post, try adjusting steering box preload as per manual, makes a load of diferance, no more pulling to left or wandering, or your fault could be relay box. ball joints milners. sounds a cheep mot, if you do it yourself. no welding?

pulls to left steering box adjustment

Further to all I have read about the pulling to left business, I have now replaced all of steering components including last week the drag link arm, but still pulled a bit to the left. But the slight play I had felt in steering wheel was still present, so I checked from steering wheel to...

fault code power loss under load

hello timbo, after some research i came to that conclusion, r20 manual is full of doom and gloom on that, last item is air, not first! not sure if mine is the only boshi filter to have had such a fault, doesnt look like a neopryne seal, whatever it is, and the bonding agent, they dont like...

fault code power loss under load

to answer my own question, it was a faulty fuel filter, less than 6 months old, 7,000 miles, top seal decided it didnt like diesel and let go of filter, it had swelled up and was leaking air, did clear pipe test on inlet and outlet, many bubles on outlet, so investigated fuel housing, and found...

fault code power loss under load

i have been doing some more digging on google, and similar fault appears to be common with air leak in diesl lines, which kind of makes sense, i have also rechecked manual and found the following. P1246 0201 I Injection timing feedback system does not operate properly. (This system consists...

fault code power loss under load

Hello, I took advice from a fellow member (ray) and obtained a consult lead and software, very good advice. My Maverick has been ok, done many mods and overhauled, but intermittently got loss of power, which was originally cured with a new MAF. Similar fault occurred during cold spell, if you...

    air con

if you have a fast leak, you will see gas freeze on exit from hole! but if you suspect it will leak, it is ileagle to fill with gas. but leak will show on vacume check, most modern refil systems will bar you from filling unless sucseful vacdown. i have seen lots of terranos all with holes in the...

    Bloody MAFs!!!

thinking about what you said ray, if it was -5 driving, add windchill could be at 70mph what -30?? or less. maybe needs air inlet point to manifold, just like the old days? i have opened up a hitachi one, well potted in semi fluid grease, no sign of water ingress, small area of localised...
