Thank you for your help guys. Push started the truck yesterday and she fired up and ran for 40mins. Infact picked up my guitar tutor. Will book into local garage, who are reasonable and very good to have replacement fitted. Thank you once again

Part number for replacement starter motor = 9 000 331 203 Bosch Sadly cannot read starter number on knackered one, pipes in way. Thanks

Hi Guys Had starting probs with SWB W reg 2000 Terrano 2 2.7 Intercooler (scoop on bonnet). Anyway, new battery bought, still no good. AA called out, traced to starter motor. Refurb starter motor arrived, took off knackered one (that was a job & half!!). Ran out of time to fit refurb one, but...

LOL, always getting noise from passenger side.......but thats a different defect !!! :augie Mechanic has found it....we think !!! Tested hubs, all works as it should, however the ARB link was completely sha**ed. Replacing now and going for test run..........hopefully now cured....:thumbs

Hmmm, would the jubilee clips hold that type of pressure ? It's been a real pain. I'm wandering if a seal is missing of the end of the pipe that goes into the steering box, then nut tightens the pipe in place ?? :nenau
