Very keen to go for a K&N filter having had them fitted to previous cars. If searching one out for the Terrano what do I need to know which filter is suitable. Do I just stae it's a R20? or just that it's 2.7tdi? Thanks

Sorry, don't mean to hijack your thread, but I also have a problem with my windows, it all seems related to the switch on centre consul, i think it is the window lock switch? if not working, i press rapidly three or four times, it then works! so question is, is this a switch problem or a relay...

When I had mine checked at Kwik-Fit they said their system wil pick up leaks i.e. loss of pressure if pressure not being held, but if leak is so minor their system will not pick it up! I'm sure they don't use any dyes to check for leaks.

My horn is a bit feeble, girlfriend concurs with this too, so intention is to replace the horn(s). how easy it to do so, as there doesn't appear to be much room to carry this out without removing several layers of skin from hands!

hi mate, can you tell me a bit more about this stuff, i feel i might have a leak somewhere, as i have just had aircon recharged, a year since last one, thought normally a job done say every two years. with this pro-sealer do you just add it to the system and it hunts out any leaks?

Seem to be getting loads of static on radio (am) when i put blower on, even when i lower or raise windows. any clues or cures as why this might be happening, is it the radio ? any advice would be appreciated

your best bet is go to main dealer for new bolts about a quid each, i had a mare trying to get bolts for my starter motor from a spare shop. at least you will get right length etc.

the gearbox man who sorted mine out a few months ago, said with terrano's and mav's it's quite common with the thrust bearing to rattle. he said not a lot to worry about, just annoying to the driver!

I try to put it in about two weeks before the old m.o.t expires, to be honest never check if the extra days have been added on!
