Hey Guys, my 1994 Mistral is for sale. Passed MOT last week, MOT till March 14 2013. Nice to drive. Engine and auto box sound. Had 4 new tyres and battery 3000 miles back. 7 seater, black over gold. Was going to get a big caravan but plans have changed. @ the £800 mark.

The old Truck passed the MOT straight through no probs yeeehaaaaa

I had the same on my mistral. Sometimes it would not work, but if I held the switch on and tapped the relay box in the door, it worked. So I took out the relay and levered the plastic cover off the top and slid the electrics out. Ater looking at the solderes on the board I noticed a ring around...

I had trouble with mine too Briggie. I took the insides out of it and spotted a ring around one of the solders, showing the solder had broken....missed it the first time. So I took my 25 year old soldering iron and 2 mins later works brill. Had the same problem with my intermitant wipe...this...

Yes Yakkerman, that is them. I guess the price has gone up since march.

Insurance is much more on a Mistral. They instantly add around £200 to the price as it is an "imported" car, and so parts cost more! You can tell them the parts are the same price as the non imported ones...to no avail. My old insurance company insured me for my saab 900 2.0 - me and wife fully...

On my old saab 900 my airbag light was on. It went through 2 MOTs at a very keen place that let nothing slip through.... not even an advisory on the AB light.

Back in 1981 I got my first car -a 1970 Beetle. Solid body, lovely blue, but the engine used more oil than petrol.

Try removing all plugged in USBs apart from mouse and keyboard. Windows 7 can try and boot from usb and it did it to me and would start in safe mode. So if you are charging your phone etc from USB it may be trying to boot from there.
