Yes that will work but the a one way valve would be more suited to the feed line. Try bypassing the hand primer also to see if this alters it. When you discover the fault let me no as i have a terrano that im breaking. cheers.

It may sound a bit basic but but on our dumpers we have a no return fuel valve to stop diesel running back to tank over nite (parking nose down on a hill would stop this) also if our breathers block up on the fuel tank it causes a vacum in the tank which results in the diesel being pulled back...

Try taking the door card off and see if you have power at the plug for the motor, if so treat yourself to a new one if not trace your wiring to see if you have trapped it wen fitting the door card. :thumb2

Make sure both engines are the same as there are 2 differnt tdi engines. i changer one and had to drop the gearbox as there is not enough room to pull the engine forward out of bell housing before yoy hit the front axle. :thumbs

if you have a bosch maf it is in passenger foot well but hitachi are elsewhere in the car.:thumb2
