    yeah just had a look at some youtube video's, disco's getting stuck, hilux's too, and looks like unless youve got massive tyres or a lift youll be grounding on everything, and looks like it holds loadsa water too.

    1997 R reg, serviced every 3000 miles by nissan, prior to me getting it, and just done 97000, also on this subject, how many people have renewed there timing chain, and if so what mileage?

    whats the name of the one at j29? or put a link up for the site if possible. just up the road from me, could fancy some of that myself, maybe after the carsington meet, we could organise a day there:nenau, when we've got to know everyones limits.

    mine reads the fuel level permanently, if you park it up the needle stays where it is:nenau dont know if thats right either

    mines an R reg i think its 1997? just looked at the tunit website, fantastic figures, and good improvement on both power and torque. may well consider one before tyres, bit expensive, but do you gain on mpg too? ive heard reports in the past of improved economy with diesel tuning? although...

    I've run smaller tyres on the front for years, but like its been said, ok to get through an mot. Very common in vws scene, I've run beetles, and my old beach buggy on smaller front tyres to the rears:thumb2, never had a problem. Maybe what I'm saying isn't correct, but that's what I've done/...

    Yeah spot on:thumb2 She enjoyed it, nothing to hard, and like I've said before, I'm on road tyres still at the moment and we coped ok, Only went cause of how the weathers been last few days, only other time we've been out was boxing day on our own up limestone lane just passed bake well...

    different sizes on same axle are ok, my mk1 golf runs 165/55/13 front on 5.5j alloys and 185/55/13 rears on 7j alloys and although mot testers look they pass that ok, although i wouldnt fancy running my t2 on them:eek:

    Adrian Flux do the T2 with all it's crazyness covered but ltd mileage 5000. hope the 5000 is the limited mileage:eek:

    my wife is 44, passed test in january, drives a 1997 2.0 golf cabby, with me a named driver on her policy, i drive a lwb 2.7 tdi, with wife a named driver on mine, done through aviva multicar, together paying £880 tpft not too bad i thought
