Yep, im the same as you. I have the Mav on fully comp for £250 and an 06 BMW 520SE for £350 also on fully comp, both cars are mine with only me to drive them, but i can drive anyother car as well. Both full NCD even though i only got the Mav in 2010, Admiral macthed the NCD on the BMW to give me the same discount on the Mav.
Direct Line wanted £700 just for the BWM.:doh

Hmmm, I tried Admiral but couldn't get a price anywhere near what I'm paying already. They didn't like all the mods on the truck and my points on the focus :doh
Horah for Swift Cover on the trol , with mods and points etc
Adrian Flux do the T2 with all it's crazyness covered but ltd mileage 5000.
Focus with Swinton .
Wondered about traders policy a while back but they're not the same anymore either:( Damn scam insurance companies, I mean I can only drive one at a time :augie

Its getting to the point that no-one will use insurance soon, as it is not a requirement in Law that your car has to be insured. WAIT FOR IT!

I know 99% of you are going to think iv gone nuts, but this is not the case, none of the post office vehicles have insurance on them and they are on the road, No it not because they are protected by the crown as some may think, (This is why you can not sue the post office or the armed forces) it is simply because they have a "Bond" placed onto them.

If you have enough money, and we are talking footballers money here, you can place your own "Bond" on to your vehicles and then if they are in an accident the money is taken from there.

At the last check it was £500,000.00 but the way things are going that will about cover a 19 year old to drive an old ford fiesta.

MINE is £233 with RIAS for over 50s fully comp, screen, breakdown etc included, my 206 is 338 with admiral fcomp
