thanks Rick have taken the dash to pieces. found 4 blown bulbs - but 4wd is not one of them must be the switch on the gear box as its mechanically sound thanks again PS anyone know where this switch is or what it looks like?

Option 2 removed - 4L engages fine - just tested on gravel drive

Hiya Went out on Sunday laning in the new T2 and noticed that there is/was 4x4 indicator light on the display when 4H was engaged. Now that leaves me to assume one of three things 1) the light is broken 2) 4WD is broken and not engaging 3) there is no 4x4 indicator light in the 98 T2 2.4...

Hiya I too have the sqeeky door. I followed the directions and ripped the trim off ... took me ages to find the sheared door welds... So.... two questions... A) where can I find replacement trim fasteners online? B) what is the solution to the sheared door spot welds... I have seen a post...

mmm just got a new key for my 98 T2. cost be 60 quid which I thought was steep. unlocks everything, works the immobilizer and operates the central locking by the way this was done at my local nissan garage

me too as it was one of their postings which identified the rear points as recovery ones :D

this seems to be the otherside of the coin, as its been clearly mentioned on this forum that the rear points are for recovery as opposed to tiw downs. It would be good to clear this up :D Also, I don't think the assumption that many of the towball incicents happen in Austalia is due to poor...
