4x4 Indicator Light

Hiya

Went out on Sunday laning in the new T2 and noticed that there is/was 4x4 indicator light on the display when 4H was engaged.

Now that leaves me to assume one of three things
1) the light is broken
2) 4WD is broken and not engaging
3) there is no 4x4 indicator light in the 98 T2 2.4 petrol extreme

So, if anyone could share a pictire (preferably) of thei dash on a T2 I would be very grateful.

mmmmm al those lights seem to come on, but none looks like the 4x4 one...

if you can spare a picture.... please ... /govel

swanning around - love it - have the same problem myself

also - if we know of any fuses that are linked to this... please yell loudly - i'm looking for any easy fix

probably woth mentioning that the centre backlights on the dash are blown or don;t work - the left and right ones behind the speedo and rev counter work fine

Option 2 removed - 4L engages fine - just tested on gravel drive

have taken the dash to pieces.

found 4 blown bulbs - but 4wd is not one of them

must be the switch on the gear box as its mechanically sound

PS anyone know where this switch is or what it looks like?

so do I... will be getting under the truck in the morning.... once i have determined the replacement type bulbs I need and nipped off to the local motorshop

Darwin has some nice led one, with a blue tinge..

PM him, might have a set left..

nice idea - but i need to get the truck back on the road today so need the bulbs this morning

not having much luck on halfords website though

i think you need T5's for dash...

yes, only managed to find one set of blue t5 led's from halfords

are the interior bulbs the same ? ( the ones which come on when u open the door?)
