sounds like you are trying to drive in 4wd whilst on tarmac. if you are, stop, you will sevearly damage your transmission. if its happening whilst on wet grass/mud then its damaged already. :(

i've got twin elecy fans fitted to my mav, but they were already on when i got it. i can take some pics if you would like them?

forgot to mention that one of the bolts was missing too. that could have been the reason why the old one failed :?: m10, 1.5 thread x 30mm long. (just incase anyone needs a replacement).

changed the starter motor tonight :smile: thanks for all the advice guys. i have to say that i don't want to do that again in a hurry! what a pig of a job. i think i've scraped and cut all of my knuckles :cry: a rubix cube is easier to do than try and get the starter motor in and out of that...

if its not one thing its another! had to replace alternator and battery before christmas, glow plugs last week and when the misus and i went for dinner at some friends last night the starter motor packed in! (lots of wirring noises but doesn't crank the engine). ordered a new one from online...

i had a very similar problem before christmas..........it turned out to be the alternator. i found out after my battery went flat and buying a new battery and that one going flat too :x starts ok now :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

hi dodge, i've got a custom fit intercooler on my '95' mav and have no probs with it. i can take some pics and e-mail them to you if you would like. i warn you now its a bit of an 'agricultural' custom fit :lol:

it sounds like your steering stops. try slaping a load of grease on them to free them up. if that doesn't work then you might need new ones. check out th workshop download- http://www.nissan4x4ownersclub.co.uk/workshop/wk1.pdf

i don't think it is legal to have fog lights on a roof rack. you can have spot or driving lights that only come on and go off with your main beam.
