    Crunch!!!

Thanks to a near senile Jaguar driver last night who didn't feel it necessary to give way or even stop when pulling out of a car park, my Maverick TDi is now rather battered, to the tune of nearside front wing, front bumper, bonnet, rad grille and as yet unexplored front suspension. Having...

    front wheel studs/bolts

Milners do sell them cheaply but I had quality problems with the ones I received, culminating in one shearing when I was tightening it using just the standard wheel brace

    Horn stuck on

So, I pulled into Sainsbury's car park and, as I was parking, my horn sounded. Didn't think much of it until I came back and went to drive away. I put my key in the ignition, turned it and the horn sounded and would not stop even when I turned the ignition off. It only stopped when I pulled the...

Well, that kinda puts a cloud over the Royal Wedding

He had pretty much had his day other than as a figure head, a role which will now increase tenfold as he has 'achieved' martyr status . There are plenty of new kids on the block to carry on what he started.

    RATS - bit of advice

Definitely Fenns no4 traps to kill rats :clap. If you want to shoot the little sods, bait an area with crumbled up Flake chocolate, so they can't grab and run, and sit and wait. Assuming you have a suburban garden, make sure you have a good backstop to prevent accidents, especially if you are...

    broken bleed nipple casing

I didn't do as I was snowed under with work so friend of the family did it. Have a look in the technical section, might be something there. Hope it goes ok :)

    broken bleed nipple casing

Don't think the back plate will need replacing but you will need to replace the cylinder, i expect. Milners have them for about 17 quid, I think. Just replaced both of mine as 1 was leaking. Have a look at the shoes as well while you have it all stripped out. :thumbs

Doesn't the bleed nipple screw into the back of the wheel cylinder?
