Don't think the back plate will need replacing but you will need to replace the cylinder, i expect. Milners have them for about 17 quid, I think. Just replaced both of mine as 1 was leaking. Have a look at the shoes as well while you have it all stripped out. :thumbs

Doesn't the bleed nipple screw into the back of the wheel cylinder?
