    Green Lane's & Ford's in Essex

Don't want to worry you about Danbury Ford but we did a lot of tree work there and generally around the Hurrells Lane/ Hammonds Road area this year and the place is absolutely crawling with gay doggers:eek: Some dirty get had even crimped off something mahoosive in the little carpark next to the...

Hi, Team SouthEast. Alan from Leigh on Sea in Essex here, running a '96 Mav TDi as a tree surgeon's work truck. Nearest I come to serious off-roading is driving between the trees on worksites :augie

    Back with a problem.....help please.

Hi all. Been working hard so not been on here recently, but need some advice again. Today I got the orange engine check light up and engine is flat on pull-away, sometimes clears itself with some throttle but then revs itself and the check light (MIL light?) comes back on. I ran it on bio for a...

    Birds Nest

Firstly, any attempt to interfere with the nest is indeed a criminal offence. If you are going to cut the rest of the hedge, make sure you leave enough cover from both predators and sunlight.

    Camping

Glen Nevis near Fort William is great, with superb views of the Ben. Just watch out for the midges.:thumb2

    Bit of advice?

Try talking to his mum about his negotiating style and explain that you are looking for a solution, not an escalation, but you feel in the face of his aggressive actions that you will have no option but to get the police involved if he continues in the same manner. Reinforce the message that you...

    Bit of advice?

As for the threatening, that is an offence under Protection from Harassment Act 1997 s2 as he has breached s1 (1&2), can't see any protection under s1 (3) as his course of conduct is not reasonable. He can be prosecuted publically or privately but you will need evidence.

    Bit of advice?

Sounds like a chancer to me. It's easy to say his mate is a solicitor, anyone can say that. Up the stakes and tell him your mate is a barrister or judge :naughty One thing to bear in mind, if it gets to the court stage then he has no leg to stand on as he doesn't live there, ie he has no...

tonsils out, jaw broke, partially deaf!!

The burn part should be the simple bit, far easier to prove the op as the cause. Any decent defence lawyer would probably look to muddy the waters on the hearing part by introducing other possible causes, eg noise in the milking parlour, for her hearing loss. What she needs is a good...

    steering tracking

Always worth getting it done for the sake of your tyres, especially if you go off-road much. Had mine done when I bought it and it was a long way out, meaning new front tyres :doh

    hedge cutter

I can tell you how to start a Stihl. 6 goes on the primer, then full choke and no throttle, pull until it fires. Then give it half choke, pull until it fires and runs then give it light throttle only until it's wam. Hope that works for you :thumb2

Good way to network but a real load of pointless crap as well. Aimed more at the teenage market

Mate, I hope you didn't store it with the fuel in it? Petrol will break down and gum up the carb unless you add a fuel stabiliser. Try some fresh fuel and you might be lucky.
