Being sad I regularly check my mpg :confused::confused: Usually get 30/31 mpg on work journey each day (approx 55 mile round trip, A roads and commuter traffic..7am out and 5pm back) and about 28 around town (short journeys).... Is a manual 2.7tdi and I do drive like an old bugger! :thumbs

tool about £40 on e bay.... or.... as 11redrex says (dependant on fixed or auto hubs re the brake ring bit... fixed hubs on later trucks) I used a small hammer and screwdriver to 'untighten' the hub nut and a pair of long nosed pliers opened up to locate in 2 of the holes (opposite each other)...

So I have had my 02 reg terrano tdi for 3 months now... so far the 'issues' are as follows.... water pump needed changing - did that juddering in reverse, changed rear diff oil to fix....did that broken drivers seat...fixed that no air con...regassed to fix that crap healights, changed bulbs to...

I have been studying the wiring diagram and it looks like the unit IS in the switch from the diagram (as it calls it a 'combination' switch and looks like the amp is in there from the digram)????... I popped into my local repair shop and they are willing to look at it for me but they are not a...

Any ideas what the 'box of tricks' is??? I am wondering if the ECU is buggered? Not sure if the ECU controls the wipers tho.... ADZ i will call teezer and see if he can help.... will see when he is free :o

Well I did try a 2nd hand one which seems to do the same things???? My money was on the motor which is why I tried that 1st.... dread to think how much a new one is :(
