Know how you feel mate..... Have done all mine now..front/rear diffs transfer box and gearbox. Gearbox the worst to do, spent bloody hours under the car squeezing about a cupful at a time from a 1 litre bottle as you cannot get the height to fill properly.. ended up with several squeezy bottles...

i agree with that... changed mine when I got the T2 as it was doing odd stuff when reversing and was twitchy at the back too when driving, now it is rock steady (unless you are wanting to be a bit spirited then the back end is very controlled on opposite lock !!!) :thumb2:thumb2:thumb2

got mine done at my local 'Timpsons' (shoe repair place) for about £30ish I think...that is a normal key with coded transponder, obviously bloody alarm goes off when unlocking etc but thats how it is when using a key.. works a treat as a spare... mind you if you can get one for £15 then no...

Happened to me too the other week... huge thump under the car felt it through my feet, steering and seat (was breaking at the time).. lloked all over and nothing.. done a 1000 miles in it since then and no probs.... as said likely something in the road flicked up and hit the underside of the car

If its the water pump you may need to take the bash plate off the front underneath and then look up with a torch... mine was running off the bottom of the pump (hence unable to see anything from above) and dripping off a small bolt onto the bottom pulley area, then off the front of the sump...

Well the one I have borrowed is CAN OBDII compatable so guess it covers all types of vehicles and the 2002 terrano I believe has a 16 pin socket for diagnostics (I will check the workshop manual) so this should fit... looking on the web it is all around when it became industry standard... 1996...

Hi peeps.... Need to remove the lower dash under the steering wheel this weekend to get the fuse panel out. Anyone know if it is easy??? Need the fuse panel out to try and fix me wipers (se previous threads on that problem), want to check wiring etc and look for the elusive 'wiper amp' as shown...
