    drink holder

I have a cup holder but always thought it might be broken. Is there meant to be a bottom folding part so that you can stand a can of coke in it? Mine only allows tapered cups otherwise they drop through!

    AVG alternative ?

I use Avast as I found it to be the better of the free ones. However when you've installed it go in to the user interface and switch the 'silent/gaming' mode on otherwise it will lock your processor everytime it wants to display a nice little message. Most anti-virus programs also have...

I think everybody will be interested to begin with and we could probably club together in areas to build kit and share the goodness. Need to start a 'bio' thread. I'm certainly interested :thumbs

    roundabout lanes anybodys guess!!!

The Highway Code - which I was led to believe was the law. I started reading this sometime ago and started getting more frustrated with drivers antics as you have with roundabouts! http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/TravelAndTransport/Highwaycode/DG_070338

    MOT Changes 2012

I agree to a point. I learnt to drive without all the frills and also drove coaches without synchro. I also know ABS can reduce stopping distances regardless of the super handling skills of the driver. Your ABS could protect ME. :(

    kwik fit saw me coming!

I have only ever used kwik fit for a free battery test, free brake check, free health check and free aircon check. Then I always shop around for the parts, get them cheaper and do it myself. Good diagnosis most of the time but only because they have automatic machines doing the work I think...

    MOT Changes 2012

Why don't you just make sure it works properly? ABS fault ignored and bypassed  That's your brakes! Don't be coming near me on the motorway!!

    Road tax, newer T2

What I can't seem to work out is where they get the info from. Is the tax band set when the vehicle is manufactured or is there a way of updating it. Is it for the individual car or is just one tested and rest assumed the same based on design? My thinking is perhaps arguing the banding as the...

is the T2 good off roader

I have long been a Land Rover thoroughbred until this year when I inherited/bought a Maverick swb and have been converted. It has been said that they are a good all rounder which is spot on. I feel at home offroad or doing the school run whereas with the Land rover it was happier sat in the...
