    Great ideas, chaps!Will give them a go. Gauge does move to about a third scale and blower works but little volume. wonder if heat control not working to max even though it slides straight accross? Will be interested in how 88 deg makes a difference. Any more clues most welcome!

    7 Hour + wait for the A A

    Got a puncture and couldn't budge wheelnuts at busiest time over Christmas. I was quoted up to a couple of hours but due to my wife being ill turned up in 40 mins. Not the AA, but Britannia Rescue - pay approx £70 pa for self and wife Personal Cover any vehicle for breakdowns over a mile I think...

    WELL FINALLY FOUND SOME ONE LOCAL WHO WILL FIT ONE FOR £390 INC VAT SUPPLYIND A JAPANESE CLUTCH (SOUNDED LIKE ADT? or is that an alarm company!!!) Hoping for the best and thanks to all who replied.

    Will do - but am worried about their reviews of shoddy workmanship etc. I would like to use 4x4 specialist if feasible but can't find anybody local. Am beginning to thing I should have bought a Frontero or Pajero instead as local garages give silly prices as they obviously don't want the job!

Bit confused as local garage quoting £500 plus but Mr Clutch £320 but very dubious consumer reviews about them, always saying flywheel needs skimming etc. Does any one know of a reliable garage in my area or not too far away?
