Hi guys, just noticed one of my front tyres was badly and excessively worn on the inside of the tread, I went to the local tyre place to have the tracking checked to be told its wear and play in my bottom ball joint and track rod end that is causing it. So my questions are, is it a...

    Rear axle seals help

Hi guys, my motor was in the garage after the MOT for a brake pipe doing and the mechanic said he noticed whilst he had the rear drum off that there seemed to be a slight leak on the end of the axle that may end up contaminating the rear shoes with oil. I contacted Nissan to order the seal that...

Sorry guys let me explain a little more... Sometimes when i go out to the motor from cold start, i turn the key and the starter clicks, let go of the key and try again and it clicks, sometimes this can go on for a few attempts. So far having tried a few times it always then spins over and starts...

    starter motor question

Hi guys, sorry this isnt terrano related but I guess the same principles could apply. I run a 2003 vauxhall vivaro van 1.9dti and the starter motor has started clicking, usually on cold start up. Now I understand that its the solonoid making the noise because its probably sticking and not...

    poor starting issue

I have to say i would be tempted to temporarily put an in line filter to bypass the filter housing, just to see if that improves the situation...at least then i can pin point whether the filter housing is to blame... Do any of the breakers on here have a filter housing/ primer they want to sell...

    poor starting issue

i think the poor starting has just developed over quite a short period of time. The filter was changed as a measure to eliminate it from the list of potential issues. when it starts and i try to accelerate there is what i would think is whitish smoke....and is very lumpy. Once it has run for a...

Okay...so I will do some testing and prodding about tomorrow... I will start by checking voltage is getting to the buzz bar, I would also be tempted to put the old plugs back in and see if the problem is the same. Can I check the glow plugs work out of the engine by connecting them directly to...

    poor starting issue

Hi guys some may remember me putting a post recently about poor starting due to what i thought being glow plugs. The glow plugs were replaced with new ones but the issue remained. There was also a mention of possible fuel problems. To quickly describe what the symptoms i am experiencing are i...

    Front brake hoses

I would change garages.....how can the hoses be causing sticky claipers? If your front calipers are sticking then its probably the slider pins have seized or the pistons are sticking.
