petrol v diesel running gear = g/box transfer box diffs any one know if petro will fit diesel for the xtrail ? I know its A long shot asking:augie but have A noisy transmission on my di xtrail & am looking at buying A petrol non runner (ecu packed up) :D

Even if it is only A gasket it will still mean dropping the box to do it because it will prob be bellhousing to box gasket if your lucky could be oil seal I dont know which is easier but both mean dropping it , from what I have seen on here not A job undertaken lightly :augie

may be being A bit stupid but how have you jacked it to test the brakes ? if the load sensor is sensing no weight why would it work as far as its concerned it would be dangerous to hit the brakes

If you are having carpet dont put cable between gripper and wall the space is for the carpet fitter to bolster the carpet into so you would lose the tension on carpet A better idea is to sandwich cable between A second strip of gripper easy to do no mess no pulled up floorboards or holes in...
