this is what he sent me: The Watergate actuator was weak, I added a second spring to it and that helped. It. It was still there however. I think the milners exhaust made it sound a bit louder as well, but never really managed to eliminate it.

48 is Accelerator pedal position (APP) switch/fuel injection pump position sensor - circuit malfunction

hi guys... had the magical EML light come on today, just read the codes using the paperclip method, got codes 14, 34, and 48! What can i do to sort these out? seriously loosing faith in the truck, getting close to scrapping it!

i will check the old starter motor when i get round to it to see if its working correctly, but i suspect that its fine, in which case i now have a spare! :clap

basically the positive lead on the battery needed extending as the end was in poor condition, but i didnt have enough give in the wiring loom to just cut the end off then re-attach, had to extend it with another cable, but the join wasnt good enough.

all sorted! :D was a wiring issue, which has now been solved!

New starter motor came from cncfabs so I guess he would have checked it before sending

Battery is now on charge over night. Hopefully it'll be ok tomorrow

Ok new starter motor is in and it still won't turn over just the click any ideas?

have got a new (sencond hand) one to go in, but i will be attempting to clean out grease, etc the old one to keep as a spare
