Right as suggested I have changed the glow plugs on the terrano with success. The problem starting when cold however is still there??? I just don't understand what is going on with the old girl. Any ideas otherwise I'm going to have to take her to the mechanic whilst remortgaging the house.

I just went to euro car parts and order some denso metal ones I believe (not 100% sure they are metal but feel and look like it) should I have gone for something else then?

I do have some form of a leak which appears to be running down to the sump and then dripping. I have ordered new leak off pipes and will change them when I do the glow plugs. The terrano is a 2001 2.7tdi

I seem to have a small problem with my terrano smelling. Basically when the fan is turned on the smell of diesel seems to fill the cabin. It's not to the point that you can't drive or have to open the windows but it'd definitely there. Any ideas wonderful people?? :thumbs

Right I have done all of the above and it is still having trouble starting. When it does eventually start a cloud of smoke comes out the exhaust and then it's fine. Run it for 5 minutes or so, switch off and go to turn it back on again and it starts first time without any issues??? I haven't...
