smell of diesel in cabin when fan used

I seem to have a small problem with my terrano smelling. Basically when the fan is turned on the smell of diesel seems to fill the cabin. It's not to the point that you can't drive or have to open the windows but it'd definitely there.

How old is the vehicle?

If you have rubber leak off pipes and they are perished and leaking diesel, the smell will enter the cabin

I do have some form of a leak which appears to be running down to the sump and then dripping. I have ordered new leak off pipes and will change them when I do the glow plugs.

The terrano is a 2001 2.7tdi

I think they were fitting rubber leak off's at that point, see if you can trace the leak back, you may have an Injector Pump leak if it's leaking down the sump.

What glow plugs are you ordering?!?!?!?!
Please,please do not use ceramic!!!

as has been said first port of call would be the leak off pipes

I just went to euro car parts and order some denso metal ones I believe (not 100% sure they are metal but feel and look like it) should I have gone for something else then?
