    Small T2

Hah - you can have it - had about another foot since then - it's interesting here at the moment - it's the worst winter since the 90's My parking space has an 18" drift round it just from last night.

    Small T2

I wish Zippy - lord knows how much the mods on that Excursion were. It was outside the local parts place where I get bits from. They take touroids up on the glacier with them. They use jacked up Econolines as well.

Running in 4WD - how much "slip" is enough ?

Just need some guidance - the weather here has gone very wintery and we have shed loads of snow. So I spend most of my day running round in 4WD. However on the main roads there may be tram-tracks showing down to the dry asphalt surface. Now we all know you shouldn't drive in 4WD on a grippy...

    Headlight bulbs

I have fitted the Phillips +100% bulbs (mentioned in another thread somewhere) and I think they are very good. My complaint with the T2 lights is the high beam pattern is awful - dark holes in it !! Dipped beam is not as bad.

    Diff Lock on Terrano

I am talking to Lokka on e-mail at the moment - they have quoted me 610 AUSD delivered to my door in Iceland for diff. I am still not clear if they do a front and rear. Certainly the customer service seems excellent as response has been immediate and they seem genuinely interested. I will...

Rear bumper lamp cluster O/S for 2003 !!!

I'll have in a look in the scrappers over here - there are a lot of T2's here - shipping wouldn't be that bad and rear lights should be the same LHD to RHD

    Couple more shots from Iceland

@762Buzz - been in to Arctic Trucks - the prices :eek::eek: Still on my "things to do" list is find Fjallasport folks who went bankrupt and see if they have kits left - they were Nissan specialists.

    Couple more shots from Iceland

Hehe - been out today and it was a bit evil - gusting 60mph and snow showers giving white out at times. This was taken in-between at a coast spot while we watched these waves.

    Couple more shots from Iceland

After Christmas an New Year at home, I am back in the freezing north. The snow is here so here are a few shots of the T2. These aren't in any challenging places but it gives a feel of the climate at the mo. It is earning it's keep now and has got me out of a few spots.

General Handling - continued from LSD spin out thread

So I've had a look at the manual in the downloads and it seems the torsion bars seem to be a case of fit them; adjust to the 77mm on the adjuster and check they are right. Assumption is, if they are not your bars are twisted. So - does everyone actually just wind up the adjusters some more and...

    Windscreen Washer - AAAAAAAAAARGH!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought I was gong mad but no - my washer bottle is inside the engine bay - picture below The pump is facing inboard and a doodle to get to. Perhaps this is a left-hooker position or just late model ?? Do you have room for it in the same location ? I will get a better picture tomorrow...

General Handling - continued from LSD spin out thread

Well Makeitfit - "Houston we seem to have a problem". Here is the pic - poor quality but it was getting dark (the pic doesn't show that). I have put on the dimensions I measured from the bottom edge of the plastic trim to the centre of the hub as best I could - probably +/- 2 or 3 m Going...

General Handling - continued from LSD spin out thread

I've put this in a different thread as this is off the topic a bit now. I haven't had the chance to disconnect the rear ARB yet but other things have turned up. Since my minor "off" a couple of weeks ago I noticed I had a squeak from the front right going over speed bumps etc. I had a quick...
