So with 2" you just fit the spacers and new bolts and that's it? Apart from the bumper brackets that is....

Guys I keep seeing kits on line for doing various heights of body lift, what height can you lift without worrying about cables, pipes, filler pipes for the tank, steering etc? Haven't thought about doing it, but these lots keep tempting me...... And so it begins........ Lol

I need some roof bars to stick my roof box on as going camping in a couple of weeks, I don't have any rails, anyone got a cheap set of bars or can recommend somewhere to buy a set that fit directly to the vehicle without rails? I don't want to pay a fortune for them as will only get used once...

Well managed to get Mavis back on the road yesterday, over the last couple of weeks its had a new front cross member, front discs and pads, front shocks, front ARB drop links, ABS ring and changed the alloys to black steel wheels and painted the middle part of the grill black too... Time to give...

I have a Tdi but it just says TD on my V5 too, I got the full history with mine and to be honest I'm not bothered what they class it as....

Confused, the top of the snorkel? I have seen in some 4x4 books where it faces the rear of the vehicle and others facing front? Does it make any difference? Oh and it does look good with the snorkel fitted, I wouldn't mind one myself but god knows what else would go wrong while fitting it!!

It wasn't my garage that buggered them up, it was friendly neighbours lad trying to help out!! God knows how he managed to do it though.
