Confused, the top of the snorkel? I have seen in some 4x4 books where it faces the rear of the vehicle and others facing front? Does it make any difference?

Oh and it does look good with the snorkel fitted, I wouldn't mind one myself but god knows what else would go wrong while fitting it!!

I was wondering about this myself, facing the front I'm worried that at speed in heavy rain it's going to take on water, I presume this is why sometimes people have them facing to the rear as it stops that

Facing forward you get the RAM effect apprantley.Rain water shouldn't actually get that far to effect anything water droplets should exit at the side of the snorkel head via little channels.

Small amounts of water will actually improve power marginally. People face it backwards if the are going muddin or where water could splash in

Here is a pic of mine.yours looks different cant say ive seen that style fitted before could be that mines wrong though.I assume though there is two different styles will look good all the same

I bought it from ebay mate mine doesn't have abs.
