    broke it again

Sorry to here that your problems have returned Mate. If I were you, I'd save up my beer tokens and invest in a set of manual hubs. No more worrying about "are they / aren't they" engaged. Have fun tomorrow, and don't forget the PICS PICS PICS ! Lee. :thumb2

    Fuel pipes...

Have also found today that I have a small fuel leak coming from the solid pipes above the OSR ARB drop link. Is there any reason why I can't replace the corroded solid pipes with flexi, so long as it is of the correct specification and fixed properly ? Lee. :thumbs

    Rear bump stops...

While poking around underneath today, found the OSR bump stop hanging off. Can anyone recommend a supplier ? It looks like a big rubber " 8 ". Lee. :thumb2

    Trailer socket... 12N

Have "acquired" a shiny new Brink 4 bolt tow ball, so started to look at replacing the knacked trailer socket. The truck had a 12N and a 12S socket fitted. Both were corroded and full of muddy water, the cabling to the 12S wasn't even connected, and there was a length of 11 core cable zip tied...

    7 seater swb ?

I personally wouldn't muck about trying to add seating to a vehicle that it hasn't been designed for, not where nippers are concerned. Why not get a LWB as the "family wagon", then use the SWB for playing with. You can tell SWMBO that you don't want to get "her" car dirty ! Lee. :lol

    Terrano alarm

When I first has my Mav, I had no end of trouble with the alarm, going off at all sorts of times and then not letting the truck start. In the end, I spent a whole Saturday tracing all of the alarm wiring and removing it completely. Problem solved. Lee.

    Bike rack...

I was thinking of removing the rear wiper blade / arm for the France run, (keep it in the truck), as it stops the rack from sitting down properly over the wheel on the right hand side. Lee.

    Thermostat housing...

Was it the part that goes over the thermostat, or the seal under the piece it sits in ? Lee.

    Thermostat housing...

You're going to have to excuse the technical jargon in this post. Does the bit of the engine that the thermostat housing bolts to, unbolt from the engine ? After a little more sniffing about, it appears that my water leak / weep is coming from this area. It doesn't appear to be the water...

    Electric Window - Drivers

Ive got mine stripped, with the glass being held up by a bit of 2x1, ready for the new motor drive assembly to go in, (which I have), but haven't found 5 minutes to myself to finish it. IT WILL be done this week, come hell or high water ! Lee. :hmh

    New 4x4 tyre law

I run Kumho KL71's all of the time, because I cannot afford 2 sets of wheels and tyres. YES, they are noisy. YES, I spend most of my time ON ROAD. NO, I don't do many miles per year. This country is going bananas. What ever next, number plates on push bikes ? Lee.

    Winch install...

Play this video and pause it at 1:21. The guy has installed quite a neat bull bar and winch. I think that he's finally realised that he needs one, as he can't seem to resist crossing ditches ! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zXK2tIxst4&feature=related Lee.

    rear door.

Back to topic, when I open the doors on mine, if its been sat in the sun, sometimes the door seals can become unseated, so I end up pushing them back into place. My brother, (who works for Lexus), says you can get a "gel", (for want of a better word), that you rub on dry seals to prevent this...

    rear door.

Ian, I've got a few people at work that I'd like to "SMACK WITH ME HAMMER" :lol. Zippy, I like the term "SAT NAG", I've not heard that before, nice one. :thumbs Lee.
