I was busy fitting some big speakers in the back of my mav. I undid the plastic side panel and started to unbolt the rear seat belt bolt:cool:
Oops it came off in my hand guv:eek:
Turns out they were only held on with mud and carpet:augie

Is there a replacement panel for this area or do I need to do creative welding?

Thanks for the offer extreme, but dont wreck your tub just yet!
I can cut some off the scrap yard ones if I cant make up a bit to fit:cool:
Just cut loads of body off today for the speakers to fit in the back:sly
Pics soon.

If you buy some eye bolts for fitting full harnesses they come with tapped spreader plates, these have the correct thread for std seat belt mounts. I did this on my old Mav.

Don't seem to have any pics of the spreaders in plae but heres a couple of pics of the patch after I'd sealed and painted it. Seam sealer hadn't gone off properly so it creaped after I painted it, hence the white lines.

and forward from there a few pics.
