    Roll cage

The way it works, as far as I understand it, the cage is welded to plates each side of the body work, and these plates are then bolted together through the body work. Lee. :thumbs

Bat21 Involved in RTA on way back from Morocco

Absolutely shocked by the news and pictures. Good that you are both alive and reasonably well. Material things can get replaced, the important thing is that you're both here and home. If I can do any small thing, let me know. Regards to you and Family, Go Steady, Lee, Sue and nippers.

This is on my list of jobs to do before the MoT, as I've got a dribbly diesel line. Terranosaurus, did you come up with a replacement fuel line kit? Lee. :thumbs

    New to CB...

Hello Sweety, was thinking that very same thing, the cubby hole looks just right for a CB. I was thinking of mounting the aerial at the rear of the roof, on a quick release body mount, the push and turn BNC type. Any thoughts ? Lee.

    New to CB...

I've just ordered a CB to go in the truck, just the head unit, as have previously been using cheap PMRs, but found them to be poor. What is a good location to mount the unit ? Which is the best type of aerial mount to use ? Where is the best location for the aerial ? Any pics would be useful...

It would be great if you could do the Bud. I didn't know that you could cut the bars. I was thinking of "cutting and shutting" 2 sets of lwb bars, so that I could have a cross bar right at the front of the truck, forward of the sunroof ? Lee.

Hello Mate, is that the roof bar off a swb ? Something like that would be ideal for fitting roof lights to on my lwb. Lee. :thumbs

A day out with the DOC...

Had a cracking day out laning around South Devon yesterday with the guys from The Discovery Owners Club. The Maverick performed brilliantly, once again showing how good a standard truck with good tyres (Kumho KL71's) can be. There was one deep river crossing that we all thought better of due to...

    Terranosaurus in LRO...

LRO have run an article on the MAC 4x4 challenge in the May 2009 edition. If you look on page 37, there is a pic of the assembled vehicles, you can see Terranosaurus with his bonnet up. Just last minute checks I hope ? Lee. :clap

    all loved up...

I've done it so many times... sold a truck and then wish I hadn't. You then start thinking about what it would be like now if you'd kept it and carried on developing it. Lee. :doh

    Number Plate Position ?

I must admit to liking the plate off to one side. See quite a few Disco's etc. with this configuration. Lee.
