washed the truck today.....

clean%20truck

clean%20truck

as you can see she scrubs up well.
its very very nearly there now just got to wire up the winch.

she is everything i want from a truck and looks the mutz nutz, always attracting attention within the 4x4 community.
im now getting asked if she is for sale, i have to say it might sort out some of my problems, if i sell her and start again

was asked today how much , i jokingly said 3,000 and they accepted and said they will have the cash tuesday.

now im stuffed. i love her and cant live without her:eek:

Very nice Exeteme, One thing i do like is no spare mounted on the door, Have you removed the recess where it would sit and do you put the spare in the back and is it fixed done?, Not that i can see you putting anywhere else.

£3,000, Good price.

Mav.

Don’t know you, probs never will, but sweet truck man, if ya love her that much, politely tell them to keep their money…….. I would!!!:bow

I am tempted by wheels like that I have to say , sorry to ask again but what size are they and how much do they poke out from the standard arch ?
(Just wondering if my rubber block arch mod might keep me legal)

well ive slept on it. and im seriously having second thoughts,
several reasons

to replace it its going to cost 2.5k. so id only make 500.quid
i doubt id find one that rust free again
the engine is really sweet
its the only one that high without a body lift

its the only one like it.... if i copy it ........ it wont be

i still dream of other stuff i want to do to it. and have other plans

no mav i just removed it all.. looks more modern. i dont have a spare that size but had all the tyres jelled to help with balancing. was waiting for something to come up on ebay. and wanted to roof mount or inside possibly trouble is they are so bloody big

35" 12.5 16.5

the 16.5 is more u.s size but can get tyres in uk

ideally you want 35 12.5 16 much easier to get tyres
trouble is finding 16" rims like that. steels will cost 200 new without rubber

600-1000 if you want new on steels. or wait till ebay comes up trumps
but you got to be quick when they do, and you need probably 300 for something nice

and 3 days to set them up on the truck

they stick out around 45mm

I've done it so many times... sold a truck and then wish I hadn't. You then start thinking about what it would be like now if you'd kept it and carried on developing it.

Lee. :doh

didnt bother with car show today its raining.... so we did some exploring with the kids around some country lanes

loose the spare its awsome...
i got load of slide without all that weight on the back even with my gearing

almost drift

lol:lol:lol:lol

you done that pump yet ???

thats why younger women like us so much :D

How can I do the pump when the friggin thing hasn't arrived? I'm getting a man in next week! Thats you that is! :naughty

I'll bell you to confirm the damn things arrived....bring them plastic bottles when you come up, I didn't get out over the weekend, fell over and made a hole in my kneecap....I'm getting fed up with this!!!!!!

Dorne has to come up to Reading on Friday so if you can fix it for me I'll give you more brilliant ideas to sex up your truck! LMAO!

BTW, what you want is a square plate bolted on where the wheel carrier went, with a number plate light at the top and a square plate fitted....that hides the bulge that used to support the carrier, and the bolts.
