Oh god help! @ Mot Station

I guess you can't have too many diesel particles in the exhaust if you don't have any diesel in the tank. :augie I wonder if they have a test for fried food particles? :naughty

Oh god help! @ Mot Station

Is this the remaining original part of the car, or has this been welded on from another of Rick's spares? :augie

Oh god help! @ Mot Station

From what I have seen and heard, this is definitely in a Class of it's own. :naughty

Oh god help! @ Mot Station

It's not the MOT taking the time, it's that the mechanic keeps stopping and getting his mates to come and have a look. :augie This must be a good cliff-hanger, there are more members on the site than I have seen for a while. :clap :clap

Oh god help! @ Mot Station

Do they have continuation paper on MOT forms to cover the list of work that needs doing? :augie But seriously, all the best. :thumb2

    Stuck Domestic Thermostatic Radiator Valves.

I had some a bit like this, the plastic top which houses the thermostat was held onto the valve by a collet style fitting. the collar had to be pushed or twisted back towards the main plastic part and this released the grips of the collet enabling the plastic part to be removed. Once the plastic...

    Custom gauge mount

Nah, it's only Alex that needs one of those. :augie The rest of us are safer if we stay inside the car. :thumb2

    Nearside front door adjustment

The obvious solution is to adjust the closer to shut it tighter, but before you do this, I would check that it is the same at the top as at the bottom. It may be just the top hinge has moved out a bit and needs loosening off and moving back in.

    Modified Terrano

I never though this would cause so much excitement. :nenau Looks to me as if you all need to move from Terrano's to 'trols. :augie

    Modified Terrano

just seen this on facebook on the Nissan Terrano & Ford Maverick owners uk site. I though it was a good example for Alex on how to do up your car AND keep the bumpers. :D :clap

    Light bar pictures and fittings.

All the numbers are good except this one, which translates to - when you turn the light on all the other electrics in the car will go off. :augie I hope you have a good battery. :thumbs

    Couple of Questions

But mine came straight out of the packing and fitted on with no cutting and welding. :clap Also, as it is low profile, it has not changed the mpg and does not add much wind noise. The place I got it from does do a bigger one (as the pic, girl not included. :naughty) but I wanted the flat...

    Seat belts in later y61

I had a 2005 (55 plate) 'trol and that had a 3 point centre rear seatbelt.

    Couple of Questions

But there will be the occasional ferry with a height limit. My 'trol is way too high for the car section of the channel tunnel. All these things cost more as you end up in with the coaches and small goods vehicles.

    Couple of Questions

I like the full length roof rack. I have one. :thumb2 My concern with these is the security of anything on there. Even outside my house, I would not leave anything valuable on there unless it was locked down. Travelling through foreign parts, I would have concerns about things disappearing...

Do you have problems with steamy windows?

And keep it in the car. :D

    Couple of Questions

Ouch. Devon 4x4 do one at £1063 and I thought that was horrendously expensive. The other issue is the big tanks all hang down below the body. not a good idea if you intend to go off road. :augie
