All the numbers are good except this one, which translates to - when you turn the light on all the other electrics in the car will go off. :augie
I hope you have a good battery. :thumbs

Alex, that light bar is going to be pulling around 18.5 amps, about the same as 5 headlamp bulbs!
The headlamp fuses on the Terrano are rated at 15 amps each side.
Make sure you connect it to an appropriately rated circuit, =>20 amp or the lights may well go out!

You had 4 spotlights on your roof with 55w bulbs in which is 220w so not much change in power draw:augie now the big Q who's fitting it for you as Rick is on holiday for the next 6 months:lol:lol:lol

No draw at all on mine when I turn it on. As long as it's wired up properly you will have no problem.

Current draw can be as much as 24 amps, if the battery is low.

So wiring, switch and fuse needs to be correctly rated.
A 40 amp auto relay could be used for lighter switching current and control wiring.

Never use mine without the engine running.
Wired direct from battery, fused and through a relay.
Had it on for a good couple of hours while out at the weekend and didn't even get warm.

That's good, then current will drop well below 18 amps.:thumb2

I put the wiring in for Alex's roof lights, and I never scrimp on wire size. It's all wired up properly with the correct fuses and relays, and was even wired up to take 6x55w spot lamps on the bar, so definitely no issues with the power draw. Only thing he needs is to terminate the new LED bar neatly and safely in place of the old bar.

Easier said than done when I'm in charge :lol

You must be kidding, im not good with this :lol

If your volunteering though I could always pop by :naughty :clap

Alex, I would help you any time mate, not brilliant with electrical systems, but do have plenty of tools for fitting the bar and doing the wire run. :)

If you want to pop over again, I will help you fit it, you can bring the wheel centre you said I can have, with you at the same time... (if you still have it after all this time of course.)

Just give me a shout to arrange a day.

Edited to add... opps Sorry FireBobby, I did not realise there was a second page to this thread.
