    Tyre MPG Hit

Mine had road tyres on it when I bought it but replaced them with Cooper AT3's & there was no charge at all in mpg :thumbs not sure what size wheels you have but 26psi in the rears sounds a little low but tbh can't remember the pressure for 15 or 16" wheels now but the 17" are 26f & 29r but I...

    Gutless whilst towing

Pulled the IC off today & it looks ok as no signs of oil coming out of the welds or fins but there was plenty of oil inside the hose on the inlet manifold so think the oil has been seeping upwards so will replace the spring clips with hose clips to see if there is any difference but have wrapped...

    Gutless whilst towing

It's a bosch set up as it's a 2005, egr had the vac pipe blocked off just under 3 years ago when I bought it but lately it is a bit slower solo I think & the fuel lines were replaced in Sept/Oct 2015

    Cumbria next weekend

The old coach road is a nice drive & views are great if the weather is good (rain & fog when I drove it years ago) not sure if they have repaired the bomb hole so be careful as it eats 4x4's :lol & you can't drive around it as it's all bog land managed to put a nice dent in my old SWB T2's fuel...

    Gutless whilst towing

Was away with the caravan last week, at first I thought it was my driving as haven't towed over the winter but the truck seemed a little sluggish on the flat but when I came to a couple of hills i've towed up before it did seem to struggle loads to the point I had to drop down to forth & was...

    jims-terrano MGB GT Project

I love the old MGB GT's, spent years working on them & the Rover dealership I worked for was the top restoration place in the NE:augie I know could still get every body panel for them a few years ago as Rover sold off the factory tooling etc to make the panels & a company did start production of...

    front end conversion

I also prefer the look of the MK2 front end:thumbs tbh don't think the indicators in the wings will be much of a problem as they seem to stop where the wings wrap around on the MK2 & you might also get away keeping the later bumper with maybe a little bit of modding

    Steering Wheel Puller

I've always loosened the nut or bolt a few turns & pulled & wiggled the steering wheel hard until it comes loose:augie reason for leaving the nut or bolt inplace is so you don't smash the steering wheel into your face when it comes free & i've seen it happen:lol:lol

    Unwanted Calls

We get loads:doh but the biggest problem is so many companies are selling off our details or companies are using auto dialers:augie i've threatened legal action against a few companies that have called & after a while they have stopped calling but not all so they end up getting some abuse down...

"Terrance" - 04' Terrano II SE Commercial 2.7TDi Project Thread

TBH front should be lower than the rear due to weight transfer when pulling away as the rear end will squat down a bit, if it's level the front end will lift & effect the steering also handling will be effected which will show up more due the the all round lift. Personally I would have the front...
