    Motorcycle question

You said it worked with a USB backup battery.... was this while on the bike? As this ought to rule out vibration. Another possibility may be ignition/spark related.....

    zexel injectors

This is symptomatic of insufficient fuelling at sub 2000 rpm, frequently caused by poor MAF sensitivity or an air leak somewhere in the inlet tract. When the turbo finally spools up the airflow is then sufficient for the MAF to "see" some airflow and the fuelling is accordingly increased, then...

    zexel injectors

The only reliable way to check the needle lift signal will be with an oscilloscope.

    zexel injectors

The ECU will use the neutral switch to determine if fuel cut off is possible on over run. If in neutral, the engine will be set to idle when coasting or if in gear the fuel injection quantity will be set to zero.

    Motorcycle question

This is probably close to what Rustic was suggesting: 1A diode shown would possibly suffice, but a larger (3A) or more is a better choice.

    Demineralised Water

Here's a useful paper on the negative effects of impurities in battery water: http://www.trojanbattery.com/pdf/WP_EffectOfImpurities_0612.pdf

    The Turdano

if you can find the hole, a short term fix could be to put another breather tube in.....?

    Intermitent engine faults

with a high impedance dvm (most are) you should measure around 2.5VAC while cranking, anything significantly lower would suggest the sensor is past its prime.

    24v through 12v bulbs

Norfolk fire service used these for 12V gear on the 24V vehicles: http://uk.farnell.com/alfatronix/pv24s/converter-dc-dc-24-12v-24-30a/dp/1182702 There are various other units in the range offering different power ratings and isolated output options too.

    Wheel bearing problems !

Biggest issue is what the puller centre bolt bears down on, in your case it would be the end of the half shaft, I'd be cautious about transferring too much force into the rear diff through the shaft. If your uncomfortable with that then plan 2, slash cut - not right through and break with...

    Wheel bearing problems !

A bearing puller, something like this: Coupled with some heat. Or a cut with a 1mm angle grinder disk and a wack with a chisel

    Wireless/battey P.A. systems.

I have recently been removing the equipment from an ex police vehicle I have just purchased. Amongst the items I have removed is a 50 + 50 watt 12V PA amplifier, the sort of thing the police used for shouting at unruly crowds I guess? Anyhow I have no use for it, I don't know if it is...

    ODB11 On 2001 Terrano 2.7Tdi

AFAIK it is the actual volume of air ingested as opposed to the specific swept volume, so in reality will be something less than 100%. That makes sense for a normally aspirated engine, but with a turbo the VE would have to exceed 100%, after all that is the purpose of the turbo!

    Intake air temperature (IAT)

Yes, that's right, unused sensor default value. Nissan's implementation of OBDII on early Terrano's (and probably other models) was particularly poor, they did just about enough to tick the EU compliance box and no more. Dealers would have continued to make use of the far more useful Nissan...

    Intake air temperature (IAT)

The IAT connection will not be fitted to th MAF on your motor, its a 5 pin connector and only 4 are used. The unused connnection would be for IAT. so, no, there is no IAT function used or indeed available to the ECU.
