Wireless/battey P.A. systems.

Odd one this.

My wife teaches Westen Style horse riding. From time to time she runs "clinics", basically these are four to six hour long lessons for a group of riders and spectators.

Now don't get me wrong, my wife can be plenty loud, but sometimes the large indoor arenas she hires have awful acoustics and the paying spectators struggle to hear her clearly or at all.

So we are thinking of getting some sort of P.A. system.

We are looking for portable, preferably an inbuilt power supply, with a wireless hands free microphone (she tends to talk with her arms, so a hand mic won't be much use).

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this sort of stuff, any recommendations, things to watch for etc.

I have recently been removing the equipment from an ex police vehicle I have just purchased. Amongst the items I have removed is a 50 + 50 watt 12V PA amplifier, the sort of thing the police used for shouting at unruly crowds I guess?

Anyhow I have no use for it, I don't know if it is working or not, but I would think it likely that it's ok.

Yours if you want it for postage cost...

Change of situation, wife was talking to one of her colleagues at the airport today who used to do trade demos for the likes of JML type companies and she is going to lend her a wheel along PA system with a view to buying it off her.

So we may be sorted already, but thanks for all the help.
