    S157 FWL - Y61 LWB 2.8 Nissan Patrol GR

Yep, as above. Not worth it And also exactly what Rob said about the mechanical pump. One of the worst and most annoying things about the 2.8 is the electric throttle, so jerky off road it drove me mad. You want the mechanical pump, throttle pedal and cable, and the intercooler. Stick a...

    S157 FWL - Y61 LWB 2.8 Nissan Patrol GR

Told you lol Maybe the best would be the hybrid y60, y61 2.8 I was talking about. Honestly, they sound amazing modded and it will be original. Best option I think

    S157 FWL - Y61 LWB 2.8 Nissan Patrol GR

The most important thing is the truck looks like a great starting point so the engine can be your oyster. LS (cough cough) :augie

What is it you want to use the truck for mate? I think the om606 conversion is not as easy as it looks and will be bloody expensive. If its just for dodging about, I'd buy a y60 2.8 engine and put the best bits of both together so you have a mechanical pump, throttle cable, and an intercooler...

One thing that Yvonne gets on at me for (and rightly so) is that we have a spare tyre the same size so we can use it as an emergency. I wanted to fit bigger tyres on the truck so decided to get a rear wheel carrier to hold the spare. I took a punt on this rear bumper and its nice to have...

The blue itself is a really nice colour, but its just the 2 tonne combination with the silver that I'm not a massive fan off :nenau

Yeah we did want a SWB, but very difficult to find and silly money. But I did view one, and in all honesty, the boot is just too small to take all our stuff when we travel in the summer up to Scotland to see the family. The lwb probably suites us better for what we need it for. Never a right...

As I said, the suspension was shot. I didn't realise how uncomfortable it was until I sat in the back seat and it just crashed and banged going down the road. I always like trying different products but there was an advert on Ebay for a Pedders setup. It wasn't the complete setup, it was 2 inch...
