Cheers. im pretty sure the sensor i found at the front is the one, its the same as the second picture above. the only difference is that mine is mounted the other way round (cable at the top)

As the title suggests im having a rite mare finding where its located and which sensor to buy. I have a Y reg 2001 Nissan Terrano TDi Automatic Hitachi MAF etc... the management light is on and says its the crank sensor and i have all the symptoms such as engine stalling and running lumpy etc...

Thats cheap. £188 main dealer and £96 on ebay. I would happily pay £60 for it

Just picked up a new Terrano today. Its a 2001 2.7 TDi automatic. I got it cheap because it has a fault. The management light is on. It does drive pretty good but not quite right. I checked the codes and this is what it came up with. code 11 Fuel injection pump position sensor code 18 Fuel...

Dont worry about the mileage or age of these motors. They will last forever. The only issue you need to look for is corrosion but this is easily fixed. The terrano is a tried and tested vehicle and you can't go wrong. As stated above everything is easily repairable. You wont find a cheap...

Had the same problem with my T2. Turned out to be a seized handbrake cable. Changed it and the problem went away

I had a similar problem. Turned out to be the fuel return pipes on the injectors. Replaced them with some good quality rubber pipe and never had another problem. Mine is the tdi and doesn't have the mini filter either.

What about lagging??. Works with water pipes!

Ok..... just nipped to the shops and the light was on but on the way back it was off. Could it be a dirty sensor/ bad connection and is the Mrs still to blame?

Every time I let the Mrs borrow the terrano it comes back with a fault. This time she has made the ABS light come on. Just want to know is there a common problem with the abs or where to start looking. Cheers in advance. ....
