    I thought the 2.8 was supposed to be a good engine it's the 2.5 engine that went in Pajeros & L200 that had issues.

    Not tried adding oil but as I am changing glow plugs just thought I would do a dry compression test.

    Going rate for welding

    Our local welder/fabricator is £27 hr which I think is very cheap I have even told him he needs to up his pricing as he is very skilled, has an excellent reputation & overheads running a workshop like his are not cheap.
