id like the alleged better mpg on the 3 litre (3 miles init ? )and possibly hold value longer. but very much doubt many other benefits of the 3 litre over the 2.7 think id prefer the gear driven and i suspect the 3 litre is common rail so going to cost a fortune if injectors start playing up

see i avoid belts having had probably 5 snap in my lifetime 3 on an escort van 1.8 bloody nightmare. suppose thats why i love the 2.7 with the gear driven no wear and no snapping . each the their own i guess

re the snorkel, i have contacts in spain / portugal who might have experience with them . but very good find . ill have one if its that price . anyone else interested could try for a bulk order . once we have it confirmed it will fit snug

ive had the rear door glass replaced twice both by the glass cover on insurance ... but i do always make sure i have good glass cover:D
