Oh Dear Oh Dear Oh Dear Oh Dear = negotiable.

Mid you that was a long time ago!

i don't have the failure sheet(s) in front of me but it went something like this!

Side light not working - fixed that

Middle box blowing

Tail pipe blowing

drop links one had play, one fell (dropped?) off

corroded front to back brake pipes - but that's what he said last year (and the year before) :augie

corroded fuel pipes

Nail through sidewall of tire - I explained it helped to keep the air in but he wasn't having it.

Split CV boots (both sides)

headlight aim to low

failed emissions - exhaust to rotten to take probe

if i remember any more I will add it later :lol

Sounds like he needs a kick in the middlebox!

Talking of factors.......I was ringing round on prices the other day. Phoned Unipart then a local independent. The independent quoted unipart parts cheaper than I could get them at unipart. When I phoned Unipart to try and price match he said 'sorry can't match the price'. WTF! :nenau

Got new exhaust and mountings now, with £10 discount for inconvenience (it was cheap enough anyway)! So fitting it after tea, along with an oil and filter change, air filter and some injector cleaner and then back for re-test in the morning. :thumb2

My MOT

This year £300 for MOT

Things needed to be done

Front brakes pads and discs

Back shoes

Drop link

Brake pipe small

The brakes were very bad were gettin dangerous so £300 well worth it its the most i have spent in 7 years on MOT

Glen

Re-test this morning and now has a full ticket with no advisories :thumb2

All part of the Plan!

:D

Plank, I think that this was all part of your plan. My dad was a supervisor for a road construction company, when the job was finished and ready for inspection he would leave something obvious that they would see and then they were not so nitpicky about tiny little things of no consequence. You have the same method maybe. Give'em something to complain about so that they do not have to look too hard. :naughty

If only I was that organised! I just take it in and see what happens, no point worrying about it and messing with it - if it fails it fails!
