But I assume you are referring to the 2.8 stroker kit ?

Yup. Of the strokers available (2.7, 3.0, 3.1 and 3.3) it offered the best results for big grunt before the 3.0 started to take the big (and deep pockets) modification market (in the UK, anyway). The megawatt claim is directly related to a capacity increase. Ahh nice one mate !! Always wanted one, like most petrol heads I spose, never got close tho
 
however pretty much as soon as you start modding what you gains somewhere you loose on other areas
i remember when pete and i used to go out, i liked rigid up the front pete liked it all wallowy .

i remember once while off roading me and pete saw a sheep upside down by the track . pete insisted on righting it ........trust me THAT wasn't right ! lol
 
size of arches reminds me of icelandic conversions.

if took tha to extreme could move axle back wards
and further reduce over hang, likewise for front push
subframe forward.

suspect a racer, bit like a glacier crawler doesnt need
or want a sloppy flexible suspension a rock crawler
does, horses for courses.
