Don't take your wife for granted.

    Excellent (and so true!)

    mot............................failed :(

Mine were out prior to my last ITV (Spanish MOT) and I adjusted them using a procedure I've been using for years. Find yourself a flat and level piece of ground with a wall (I've used a multi-storey car park in the past). Park the car facing the wall, 25 yards or so out but with the front...

    Hola a todas

I've got poly bushes on mine, or at least I will have until I change my front droplinks for a pair made by Bigbunny using rose joints (still have the bushes on them obviously, and when needed I might investigate fitting polybushes on them too) The polybushes definitely last longer and they are...

Really! How long has he had it!

    Again-again

I've got Bridgestone Duellers on mine, seem to be wearing very well and suited to the combination of very variable Spanish roads and the daily drives up and down the rutted (some 12" -15" deep), potholed and when wet, boggy, tracks to my daughters' house near Malaga.

    Two Stroke in Diesel

If the mix ratio is 400:1, how much (in mls) 2 stroke would that be to a 90l tankful (maths never was my strong point!)

    Bullbar wanted please

eBay is your best bet, that's where I got mine (took about three months of searching though!)

    A breath of fresh air!

Absolutely, that was my main reason for giving them a try. The Bristol depot is in Sandy Park Road in Brislington and the one I went to, run by South Glos Council, is in Broad Lane, Yate, behind The Fox pub.

    A breath of fresh air!

The garage that saw me coming last year I've used for years and I should have heard alarm bells when the I noticed the(tasty) receptionist had been replaced by Godzilla and I recognised none of the mechanics - yup, the garage had changed hands - they've taken their last pound off me!

    A breath of fresh air!

After getting soundly ripped off last year when I MOT'd my Honda Jazz (poor handbrake sir? That's worn discs - only £122 with pads). The car had only done 50,000 miles and there wasn't a trace of a lip on the discs. (Headlamps both set too low? we'll reset them for only £22.50 sir!) I've had...

    hi from bristol

The mini filter is a fuel filter, it sits towards the bottom of the engine and is extra to the normal fuel filter which is part of the fuel pump.

    hi from bristol

First thing to check would be your mini filter - if you pay your £10 membership there's a worksheet available that tells you where to find it and how to remove it, then it's just a matter of washing it in petrol or WD40 and sticking it back in (some members, me included, have not bothered to put...

    hi from bristol

Hi & welcome to the madhouse. Lots of friendly banter and advice on here. After I joined about 4 or 5 years ago I almost immediately started saving money - I thought one of my cv joints was faffed, was looking at spending a couple of hundred pounds to get it fixed. Paid my £10, put a plea for...

    Body repair manual

Nice one Mav96, have downloaded and saved it. Re the section on "Undercoating the underside etc etc to prevent corrosion and noise, perhaps someone ought to whisper in Mr Nissans' ear "IT DIDN'T WORK!"
