Still plenty of work to do on the old girl. Bloody rust gets everywhere, need to sort o.s.f wing and even got rot on the roof above rear doors[emoji22]. But one job at a time eh Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk

    Viscous clutch.

Thats what I'm thinking too. I dont see any reason for it to be any different and think its about time I fitted a new one seeing as my tempory bodge repair was done in 2012[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk

    Viscous clutch.

Does anyone know if the cooling fan viscous clutch is the same on the y60 4.2 petrol and diesel engines as I've found one on evil bay that appears to be for the petrol model. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk

    New Member Saying Hi

Hi and welcome. You will find that Nissans share the dreaded tin worm problem but are way more comfortable and just keep going. I run a Y60 myself. I'm sure a few others that have y61's will point you in the right direction Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk

    Brake proportioning valve (y60 Patrol)

Thanks. I'm sure it will be dual circuit but no abs. I would imagine that there must be similar valves on other 4x4's or vans that could be modified to work.

    Brake proportioning valve (y60 Patrol)

Mine is completely pooped. Dont fancy splashing 350 of my hard earned on new one so I'm wondering if any late model 4x4's have same/similar valve that I could use Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk

    Poorly Patrol :(

Well pleased to say the old girl is running sweet as.... Had to get her sorted as the Wife's Vectra decided to spit its dummy out with the throttle body giving up on us.:lol I checked all hose connections and removed/re fitted fuel filter then bled system at injectors which I hadn't done...

Does anyone know what size the return line is as its smaller than one I replaced today?. I'm thinking its 8mm but not sure

    Poorly Patrol :(

Yes two lines one is smaller than the other and is also rusty so looks like I may have to replace that too. all lines are good from engine to just in front of rear axle so at least I should get away with replacing bad section.

    Poorly Patrol :(

Quick update. Replaced the rotten section of fuel line today and she fired up no problem..........For a minute or so then died again. Seems that air is getting in still but not sure where.

Fuel hose changed but she still won't run properly. Got horrible feeling pump is pooped Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk

    Im back

Nora Nissan is putting up a fight today bless her. Main fuel line has rotted so she won't run. Anyway I bought some fuel grade rubber hose to replace the bad section which just happens to run across top of rear spring turret and I can tell you that feeding a fuel line above this is a right bar...

    Poorly Patrol :(

There is an inspection panel but the fuel line has rotted across top of chassis rail so easier to work on with tank out of way Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
