Viscous clutch.

Does anyone know if the cooling fan viscous clutch is the same on the y60 4.2 petrol and diesel engines as I've found one on evil bay that appears to be for the petrol model.

I'm sure I remember reading they were the same.

Would make sense as both the TD42 and TB42 are the same basic block :nenau

Thats what I'm thinking too. I dont see any reason for it to be any different and think its about time I fitted a new one seeing as my tempory bodge repair was done in 2012[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
