New cross member.

Drilled some holes to weld through for some extra strength, the box section is watch used for the cross member, the bit with the two holes in I cut in half and used to support the main rad.

That was the nearside, offside was a bit worse but I cut a piece out for access and welded it in after.

Well boys, I've bought another Terrano. An 02 plate lwb, 2.7, one owner from new. About 90k, 500 quid. No MOT, needs a bit of welding but nothing serious, apart from that it is MINT. I'll put some pictures up.

In all seriousness I like the look of the Freelander 2, look good inside too. I think it should have a low box though.

That's some good feedback/info of the rope Rick, I think mine is 10mm with only a couple of meters sheathed, sounds like your sheathing did it's job!! Apparently they are quite easy to splice back together if they snap, can do it with a biro pen :thumb2

Get a gel battery, I don't think they give gases off do they?

First thing you need is the shorter snorkel that only goes halfway down the wing, that will make things easier to plumb in further back :thumb2
