Still plenty of work to do on the old girl. Bloody rust gets everywhere, need to sort o.s.f wing and even got rot on the roof above rear doors[emoji22]. But one job at a time eh

Thats what I'm thinking too. I dont see any reason for it to be any different and think its about time I fitted a new one seeing as my tempory bodge repair was done in 2012[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Does anyone know if the cooling fan viscous clutch is the same on the y60 4.2 petrol and diesel engines as I've found one on evil bay that appears to be for the petrol model.

Hi and welcome. You will find that Nissans share the dreaded tin worm problem but are way more comfortable and just keep going. I run a Y60 myself. I'm sure a few others that have y61's will point you in the right direction

Thanks. I'm sure it will be dual circuit but no abs. I would imagine that there must be similar valves on other 4x4's or vans that could be modified to work.
Mine is completely pooped. Dont fancy splashing 350 of my hard earned on new one so I'm wondering if any late model 4x4's have same/similar valve that I could use

Well pleased to say the old girl is running sweet as....
Had to get her sorted as the Wife's Vectra decided to spit its dummy out with the throttle body giving up on us.:lol
I checked all hose connections and removed/re fitted fuel filter then bled system at injectors which I hadn't done...
