I'm a fairly boring chap.

By day, I design wireless networks, whether it be WLAN, Point to Point, or Point to Multi-Point, RF or laser.

By night, I am the Troop Commander of the local Army Cadet Force Detachment.

Formersmurf, the cadet thing sure sounds interesting though!
Trenches and Tracks: not really that close, living in the middle of Belgium, halfway on the line between Brussels and Liège.

Semi retired now install worktops only now was a kitchen fitter
I prefer solid wood, but the modern solid surface stuff is great joined with two part
Only do around 1 job a month on average, gives me a little pocket money

I am a self employed heating engineer. I only service & repair Domestic Oil Fired Boilers and I am based just north of Ipswich, Suffolk.

I also build and run websites and forums. I have a dedicated forum just for Oil Boiler Technicians - trade only sorry. If you are in the oil trade or know someone who is and think that they would be interested, please let them know :thumb2

Oh I am still going, general builder, kitchen fitter, lecky, plumber, central heating including controls, energy efficiency, alternative energy, drain man, car fitter, damp specialist, roofer, machine driver, general dogs body, electronics, solar installer (PV & hot water (evacuated tubes & flat panels)), used to be involved with x ray machines/developers, dental machines, autoclaves etc but no longer, might try and slow down some time but all the time I have customer banging at my door it does not happen, but on any of the above I can offer free advice to members on here, Rick

Cheers pal

Nice change from hanging doors, laminate floors and shitty flat pack kitchens anyhow :D just wish I could do more bespoke shit

LOL, Love the work - very impressive, shame most of my projects are around London/hertfordshire , would have been great to have you for some future projects.:thumbs

Hello all,
A few words about my business
for the last 30yrs i have run a specialist Citroen & Maserati repair & restoration business in yorkshire, well mainly but we do handle a few Peugeot's & Panhard's etc 1920 <> 1990 more modern by special arrangement !!!
We have full fabrication & machining facilities & re-manufacture replacement body panels & mechanical parts
We also do upgrade equipment : EFI conversions, power steering , brake & hydraulic upgrades & also source vehicles from the continent, ( Citroen DS / SM / HY)...

If any of this is of any help to anyone please let me know.

Adrian

Hi ,
some not all we do press some panel's using aluminum dies, only good for between 35<>50 panels, we can do panels up to 2400mm long by 1000mm wide depending on how complex. We do sill panels & flat corrugated panels as used on Citroen Acadiane , AK & HY vans Etc

I do have a set of wooden formers for T2, 4 door sills in one section, I suppose I could make some if there is enough interest
Adrian

re: sill panels

Hi Rick,
I will look at the unit price tomorrow for 10pr . from a unit cost point of view if you can round up other member & get 20 pr it would be more cost effective the tooling material cost is obviously lower nearer to the tooling wear limit.
The sill's are correct profile but sans doorsteps, 13mm flange to top edge, if i remember correctly that was OK on the couple of trucks i did but it's a while ago now & I'm at the age of senior moments these days.
Do you think there is any requirement for any other repair sections / panels ??

regards Adrian

never thought somewhere I have drawings for compression rod mount repair pieces (proper cup in MS with a stepped rear flange to mount into frame Brkt hole) used them on mine about 4 yrs ago & still perfect even with orange polybushes

OK price it on 20, Rick

There will be a market for front wings of all models, used ones are starting to sell for silly money now and as far as I know even the grp ones are getting a little hard to find. If it is something that is feasible for you to do then I don't think you will have a problem shifting them.
